A fast acting Indiana State Trooper helps a driver suffering from an apparent diabetic episode. It happened in Vanderbugh County near the Posey County line.

Trooper Korey Mauck noticed a truck stopped in the State Road 62 median but still partially in the passing lane. Trooper Mauck tried to talk with the driver, but he was just staring and not speaking. Mauck had to put the truck into park.

Fearing the driver may be diabetic, a tube of glucose was administered, and within a few minutes the driver started to come around. He was eventually taken to Deaconess Hospital, where he was examined and released.

The driver said he was delivering Krispy Kreme donuts to area gas stations before the accident.
