The amount of guns confiscated by airport security is on the rise.

The Transportation Security Administration report more than 1,800 guns were seized in 2013. Compare that to just more than 1,100 back in 2010.

The most were found in Atlanta followed by Dallas-Fort Worth.

TSA's policy says that firearms, ammunition, and firearm parts can not be in carry-on baggage. However, unloaded firearms stored in locked, hard-sided containers can be transported as checked baggage.
