Vanderburgh County has filed a suit against six companies involved in the North Green River Road Project. Marsha Abell, county commission president, said there are multiple problems with the road. She said the companies who widened and elevated it in 2011 should be responsible for fixing it. In an official complaint, the county said cracking, separation, crumbling and poor ride conditions need to be addressed.
The companies listed on the official complaint are:
- Blankenberger Brothers, Inc.
- Beam, Longest & Neff, L.L.C.
- Bernardin, Lochmueller and Associates, Inc.
- DLZ Indiana, LLC
- Earth Exploration, Inc.
- The Hanover Insurance Company
Eyewitness News reached out to the companies. Blankenberger Brothers, Inc. did not want to comment.
Abell said even though the road is bumpy, it is not unsafe.
