Volunteers Help Care Center Residents Create Storyboards

Residents at Parkview Care Center in Evansville had some special visitors today.
Residents at Parkview Care Center in Evansville had some special visitors today. Volunteers from Home Depot came by to help build storyboards for the residents and their rooms.

Parkview's activity department arranged for the project that would highlight things in each person's life they are proud of, or something they may like to talk about.

Some of the storyboards show pictures of family, military, or faith; and will be displayed in each resident's room so visitors will know what they like to talk about.

Home Depot supplied all the materials and donated their time there today. Some of the volunteers had such a good time, they are looking forward to  bingo night for their next visit.
