The White House releases two reports today outlining its take on how much money people are saving through the Affordable Health Care Act. It says consumers have saved $5 billion over the past two years.

That's because of new requirements that force insurance companies to spend more premium dollars on patient care. And more than 7 million seniors and people with disabilities have saved about $1,200 dollars each on prescription drugs.

These reports come amid continued calls from Republicans to repeal the health care plan because they claim it's flawed.
