Another wildlife area in western Kentucky will be preserved for hunting, boating, and fishing. It's the second phase of a plan to expand the Big Rivers Wildlife Management Area.

State leaders made the dedication in Crittenden County today, just south of Sturgis. It's an area spanning more than 4,000 acres along the Ohio River.

Wildlife officials dedicated the first phase of this project last year in Union County. They acquired a 2,500 acre piece of land for the same initiative.
