As the Tri-State braces for snow and ice, stay with Eyewitness News for the very latest on the storm and how it will impact you over the next couple of days.
Here is the latest information from Meteorologist Ron Rhodes on the approaching winter storm:

Scattered cold rain showers throughout the day with light freezing rain possible to the northwest. Temperatures will be falling below freezing in the afternoon and this rain will begin to freeze by evening, making traveling treacherous.

Freezing rain and sleet will continue overnight, changing to snow early Friday morning.
Expect around 1/10" - 1/4" of ice to accumulate by daybreak.  Snow, at times mixed with sleet will fall throughout Friday.

6"- 9" of snow should fall along and just north of the Ohio River by the end of the day.
