Women Claim Man They Met Online Drugged Them

Spencer County women claim man they met online drugged them.
At least two Spencer County women tell police a man they met on an online dating site may have drugged their food and drinks after offering to make them dinner.
Indiana State Police arrested 40 year old Robert Edwards on several charges.
One victim says he brought her a meal, but it tasted funny and made her drowsy.
A second victim says she didn't accept his offer for a meal, but did get a headache from some kind of drink he gave her.
That woman says Edwards stole things from her house.
     Neither women were seriously hurt.
Investigators say this case serves as a reminder that you should never meet someone in person that you've only met online.
They advise people to meet in a public place, not in a home.
     Take a friend with you.
If you do meet with the person, don't leave your food or drinks unattended.
