Bailey Smith joined Eyewitness News in July 2021.
Bailey is a native of Bloomington, Indiana and an Indiana University graduate with a degree in Telecommunications. During her time at IU, she worked for the IU Athletic Department where she was the Emcee for several Hoosier teams. Bailey was chosen as one of two campus reps for the Big Ten Network at IU during her senior year.
After graduating, Bailey was the Staff Assistant and Campus Pulse Reporter for the IU Football team, where she helped with the daily planning for the coaches and she hosted a weekly football show sent out to recruits and fans.
Bailey spent two years as the On-Court Emcee for the Indiana Pacers before moving to Chicago, where she spent another two years as the Emcee for the White Sox.
In the fall of 2017, Bailey made the big move to Boston where she spent 4 years as the In-Arena Reporter for the Boston Celtics. During her time in Boston, she also hosted Bruins games and worked for Entercom radio.
Bailey has a passion for sports, all things fall related, and spending time with her family and friends. She loves her very needy cats, Victor and Espy.
