HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Alex Caudill, executive director of the Henderson Area Arts Alliance, has resigned from the position after three years in the position.

Caudill has accepted an opportunity to work in the administration of Governor Andy Beshear.

His last day on staff was Friday, January 17.

He will continue to consult HAAA through a transition period.

“Alex has been a catalyst for wonderful growth and expansion for HAAA as well as the arts in Henderson and surrounding communities. We are very thankful for his service and look forward to building upon the momentum he has helped foster with a new director going forward,” said Chairman of the HAAA Board of Directors, Andrew Powell.

During the transition, current board members Sherry Chandler and Kay Smith will step back from their board positions to serve as interim co-directors until a new director is hired.
