Sr. Airman Janette McDaniel, of Tennyson, always wanted to join the United States Air Force and serve her country with distinction and honor as her father did during his enlistment.
Janette joined the service three months before she turned 21. Originally stationed in Texas, she deployed to Kuwait from late 2010 to early 2011. McDaniel is currently deployed to Turkey.
Following this deployment, she has accepted another three-year overseas deployment to Spain starting this December.
