HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Methodist Health was recently recognized with 12 Kentucky Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing (KSHPRM) Awards.

The awards were presented at the KSHPRM annual Fall Conference on November 15 in Versailles, Ky.

The Thoroughbred Awards competition is sponsored by KSHPRM and the Kentucky Hospital Association (KHA).

Methodist Health won the following Thoroughbred Awards and Certificate of Merit Awards:

  • Community Relations /Community Service: Patient /Public education initiative – “Bereavement Boxes”
  • Media Relations: Earned media placement in/on a bona fide print, broadcast or online news outlet – “Bereavement Boxes”
  • Writing: Short – PR writing such as an article, news release or brochure up to 500 words – “National Cancer Survivors Day”
  • Overall Campaign: Internal or external communication program using traditional and digital components under $25,000 – “It’s a New Day”
  • Publication: Outdoor (billboard or transit) – “It’s a New Day”
  • Website: Social media content such as Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn – “2018 Year in Review”
  • Print Advertising: Single ad – “It’s a New Day”
  • Radio Advertising: Single :30 spot – “It’s a New Day”
  • Community Relations /Community Service: Patient /Public education initiative – “National Cancer Survivors Day”
  • Radio Advertising: Single :60 spot – “It’s a New Day”
  • Video: Long Form – 02:00 and longer – “2018 Year in Review”
  • Print Advertising: Single Ad – “Methodist Family Medicine – Klutey Park”
