The lines started forming outside the Indiana State Fairgrounds around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Thousands of people made their way to Indianapolis to rally for or against Donald Trump.
Trump spoke to a crowd for about an hour Wednesday afternoon.
This was right after a meeting he had with Gov. Mike Pence.
Trump re-iterated his support for a plan to build a wall between the US and Mexico.
He also took several shots at fellow Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
During the speeech, Trump said, “We’re going to have strong borders. We’re going to build the wall. And you know, Carrier that left here, goes to Mexico, and they want to sell their products across the border and no tax, no nothing. We’re going to say, ‘Sorry folks. We have a nice, strong border. We have a beautiful wall. You’re going to bring it across the border we’re going to charge you a 35% tariff after what you did.’”
Trump also went on to criticize the media, the political system, and the current US leadership.
A handful of protesters were escorted out of the rally.
