FRANKFORT, Ky. (WEHT)- Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John Minton announced Friday that he has created three task forces for the district, circuit, and family courts to prepare the court system for reopening.

Chief Justice Minton told other Supreme Court Justices, along with judges, clerks, and other court personnel “As Kentucky begins to gradually reopen business, the courts must prepare to do the same.”

One Justice will oversee each of the task forces, alongside judges and circuit clerks from across Kentucky. Minton is encouraging feedback from judges to best handle reopening the courts, including handling traffic flow and limiting crowd sizes.
