Missing 7-year-old Kentucky twins found safely in Dawson Springs

Kentucky News

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) — Kentucky State Police have confirmed that the missing 7-year-old twins have been found safely in Dawson Springs.

That confirmation came early Thursday morning.

Wednesday, authorities in Kentucky issued an Amber Alert for 7-year-old twins, Isabella and Audriana Blanchard, that were believed to have been taken by their non-custodial mother on Friday, March 20.

The twins, who live with their grandmother, Susan Blanchard, had visitation with their mother, 33-year-old Neely Blanchard.

She reportedly took the girls to a friend’s house in a nearby town, and failed to return them afterward.

Authorities were concerned, because they say Neely has a history of mental illness, which has been further compounded by the coronavirus pandemic.
