POW! grants over $68,000 to Henderson non-profits impacted by pandemic

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Partnership of Women (POW!) unveiled recipients of over $68,000 grants this week.

The Covid-19 grant will provide funding to sixteen non-profits in Henderson. The recipients of the grant are:

● Brain Injury Adventure Camp

● CASA

● Children’s Advocacy Center

● Downtown Henderson Partnership

● Experiencing Autism Together

● Habitat for Humanity

● Henderson County Diabetes Coalition

● Humane Society of Henderson

● Marsha’s Place

● Matthew 25

● Ohio Valley Art League (OVAL)

● Chloe Randolph Organization

● The Gathering Place – Henderson Senior Center

● Salvation Army

● Volunteer and Information Center

  • Father Bradley Women & Children Shelter

The funds supporting the COVID-19 grants were made possible by a significant endowment by Nyla Tillotson.
