Members of the Henderson community came together for some holiday cheer to help those with disabilities experience the joy of horse back riding.
Healing Reigns Theraputic riding gives people with disabilities the chance to interact with horses.
The Christmas on the Farm event has been a benefit for the program for the last four years.
People also got to take a hayride and shop around for holiday goodies.
Kids could also write their Christmas wish list and hand it to Santa himself.
“It’s very important to all of us that we’re bringing people out to the country and getting them to step on the soil that grows their food and everything like that,” said healing reins founder stacey denton. “its very important to my family and the families of all of our employees and volunteers.”
This is the 7th year for the event.
