Crews remove 22 tons of garbage from Evansville home

Local

EVANSVILLE, INDIANA (WEHT) – An Eyewitness News follow-up on a story we first brought you earlier this month.

Crews have started to remove trash from a home in the 2600 block of North Kentucky Avenue.

We’re told they have removed 22 tons of garbage so far.

This is not the first time crews responded to complaints of trash at the home.

They say they’re there at least twice a year.

Family members tell us the person who owns the house is in jail and doesn’t have the money to pay for the cleanup.
