EPD: 18-year-old arrested, facing attempted murder charges after October 6 shooting

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Evansville Police Department arrested 18-year-old Kyronn Hendricks in connection with an October 6 shooting in the 1400 block of E. Oregon.

The shooting injured two people.

Police believe Hendricks fired a handgun into an car during a drug deal.

The victims were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive.

Police said they spoke with several people at the scene of the shooting and identified Hendricks as the suspect.

Hendricks is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and robbery charges.

He’s being held on a $500,000 bond.
