Infant surrendered in a baby box in Indiana


NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WEHT)- Some good news has been surrendered in a baby box in New Haven, Indiana.

The baby was safely surrendered at the first station Wednesday afternoon. The infant was taken to the hospital. Once the baby is released she will be placed in child services to find her a new home.

Two Safe Haven baby boxes are coming to Evansville, Right to Life of Southwest Indiana and the city of Evansville have partnered up to install the two baby boxes.

Officials have not said where those boxes will be placed.
