(WEHT)- The lights on Highway 41 between Evansville and Henderson have been out.
The Indiana Department of Transportation had said copper wiring had been stolen. Officials now say the lights along the exits are the ones where the wiring was stolen.
As for the lights along the highway, a contractor cut a line during the ‘Fix for 41 Project’.
That has been fixed but INDOT says the lights will remain off until crews inspect them. INDOT also has the parts needed to fix the lights where the wiring was stolen and have them back on by the end of February.
