A Tell City woman is facing drug charges following a routine parolee visit by an Indiana Parole Agent and an Indiana State Trooper.
In the 1600 block of Tell St., a trooper and an agent conducted the routine visit.
During a search of the residence, the trooper reportedly located a hypodermic needle and a glass smoking pipe in an upstairs bedroom.
Authorities say residue inside the pipe field tested positive for meth.
Authorities say the materials belonged to 24-year-old Lauren Adams.
A digital scale with drug residue, a spoon, and a syringe were also found in the home, according to authorities.
All of these items belonged to Adams, according to authorities.
Adams was arrested and lodged in the Perry County Jail.
She is charged with possession of meth, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of paraphernalia.
