Police: Woman rams victim’s car, leaves scene

Local

EVANSVILLE, In. (WEHT) — An Evansville woman is facing multiple charges after a hit and run this morning.

Police were called to the taco bell on St. Joseph Avenue around 2:45 a.m. for a hit and run with injury.

According to a police report, the car was crashed into a pole, and the driver was holding his arm screaming in pain.

Police say a witness told them Jacqueline Nance was blaring music and honking her horn to get the attention of the Taco Bell workers.

That witness says the victim confronted the Nance, parked his car in front of her, and called police.

That’s when she says Nance started ramming the victim’s car, and ran it into a pole.

Nance fled the scene. Police ran the license plate and arrested Nance at her home.
