Puppies found in a garbage bag in Webster County

NEWBURGH, Ind.(WEHT)-Pawws a no-kill animal rescue in Newburgh is asking for help after they said 12 puppies were dumped and found near a creek in Webster County this month. The rescue said some puppies were tied up and foud in garbage bags.

Pawws said they need foster families and donations to get dogs vaccinated. Carson’s Brewery will be teaming up with Damsel brewpub next Tuesday and Wednesday to raise money for the animal rescue.

The Webster County Sherrif said a report has not been filed.
