EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – Eyewitness News and the Santa Clothes Club worked to raise money for kids in need.

The telethon ended and we now have some numbers for you.

You helped us raise over $245,000 for kids in need.

The money raised will provide winter clothes to kids from five counties around the Tri-State.

The Santa Clothes Club says this is the biggest fundraiser they hold all year, but more than just bringing in money, they want to show people this is a problem here in the Tri-State.

“We’ve clothed over 3,300 children this year so we obviously have to raise enough money to pay for clothes for all of these kids,” says Dough Duell.

The telethon is over, but you can still donate on their website.
