The University of Evansville marches for MLK day

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- Dozens of people gathered at the University of Evansville Monday for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. march.

The event started with a rally. Guest speakers students and community members marched through campus.

The march is meant to be a symbolic replica of the historic march on Washington.


The event will continue Monday evening at 7pm with keynote speaker Theo Wilson in the campus Rideway Center.
