Evansville Police make a number of drug arrests Thursday night.

EPD tells Eyewitness News Detectives with the Narcotics Joint Task Force were acting on a search warrant in a home in the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue.

When detectives entered the home, they say they immediately found a number of people inside the home and reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana.

Detectives then found synthetic cannabinoids, marijuana, suspected drug ledger, 5 digital scales, cocaine and cash.

EPD says the following are charged in the investigation:

Narcotics – possession of marijuana, hash oil, hashish, salvia, synthetic

Donnie Luster, 50
Narcotics – Dealing in cocaine less than 3 grams with enhancements

Aaron Maffett, 31
Narcotics – common nuisance visiting

Aramis Bushrod, 24

Floyd Shelby, 67

John Whitney, 43
