6.4 earthquake reported in southern California



(ABC) – A 6.4 magnitude earthquake was reported near Los Angeles on Thursday.

The quake was centered near Searles Valley in San Bernardino County, which is northeast of Los Angeles County.

A tsunami is not expected, according to the National Tsunami Warning Center.
