A trial date has been set for a man charged with killing a 62-year-old man

GIBSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – A trial has been set in Gibson County for the man charged in the death of 62-year-old Samuel Bethe.

Jacob Wilson was found competent to stand trial. His trial is now scheduled for May 18th of this year.

Police say Bethe’s body was found in a burning home in March of 2018. An autopsy revealed he had been shot.

Twenty-nine-year-old Ashley Robling was also charged. Robling is scheduled to stand trial in Gibson Superior Court on February 17th.
