On Friday, the Albion Fellows Bacon Center released artist renderings of a planned expansion following an announcement Thursday that it’s expanding services to the community.

The Albion Center provides 24-hour services to victims of abuse in 11 counties in southern Indiana.

Thursday, officials with Albion Fellows Bacon Center announced its second ever capital campaign.

Albion needs $1.5 million and already has more than $800,000 pledged and raised.

The money will go towards adding 12 additional beds, and provide safe shelter for up to 48 individuals at one time.
