An Evansville shelter is expecting a big donation on Wednesday afternoon that includes dozens of essential items they need everyday.
AT&T employees are donating 100 backpacks at the Evansville United Caring Shelter.
The donations include things like socks, snacks, ponchos and toiletries all inside a backpack.
The shelter plans to use the items to help the homeless population of the area.
The donation is set to take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the shelter on NW 6th St.
