Charges have been dismissed against a teen that was once accused of shooting four other teens near Cherry and Bedford in Evansville last week.

The case was dismissed without prejudice – meaning the state could re-file the charges in the future.

Prior to the dismissal, 16-year-old Jarnell Carter was charged with four counts of attempted murder.

Police say Carter is part of the D Block Gang which has been feuding with another gang called the Cream Team.

Carter denied being at the scene at the time of the shooting which took place on August 3 around 10:10 p.m.

The four victims suffered only minor injuries.
