Authorities Team Up To Spot Dangerous Drivers

As a part of the “March Enforcement Campaign on Dangerous and Impaired Driving,” authorities teamed up Friday night in an effort to spot dangerous and impaired drivers.

Between 8:00 p.m. Friday and 4:00 a.m. Saturday, Indiana State Police, Vincennes Police, and Bicknell Police issued 14 traffic tickets, 47 warnings, arrested three impaired drivers, and arrested one person on several drug offenses.

  • Zachary Adams, 26, of Bruceville, Indiana was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Adams reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .11%.
  • Brian Roberts, 43, of Vincennes, Indiana was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Roberts reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .15%.
  • William A. Cox, 63, of Vincennes, Indiana was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Cox reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .37%.
  • Kathryn J. Sutton, 41, of Bridgeport, Illinois was arrested and charged for Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

All persons arrested were lodged in the Knox County Jail. Indiana State Police will continue in the “March Enforcement Campaign on Dangerous and Impaired Driving” through March 26.
