Award-winning chef shares culinary techniques during ‘Cooking for Chemo’

Deaconess Cancer Services and Gilda’s Club Evansville will host ‘Cooking for Chemo’ with Chef Ryan Callahan on Thursday.

The event will happen at the Deaconess Orthopedic and Neuroscience Hospital, 3rd floor Pavilion.

Two sessions will be available to the public — one is happening at noon, followed by another at 5:00 p.m.

Chef Ryan will provide an educational demonstration, teaching cancer patients and caregivers how to make food taste great, by using different techniques to adjust the taste and aroma.

Chef Ryan is a two-time Gourmand World Cookbook Award winning author and chef.
