(WEHT) — Gov. Andy Beshear says there are 88 new COVID-19 cases and seven new deaths statewide.

He and Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman say $1.9 million has been raised for the Team Kentucky fund.

Over 100 people are being tested per day at the Kroger site in Frankfort.

Protestors were outside Beshear’s briefing and Beshear said they were made up of people who want the state to reopen. Beshear says reopening Kentucky now would kill people, and he is working with the governors of Indiana and Ohio on possible reopening plans.
