A popular mainstay in Daviess county, Indiana will be demolished next week.
For years, the Black Buggy restaurant in Washington, Indiana was a major attraction. People traveled from all over the region to go there — until it abruptly closed in 2011.
Today an auction was held at the former Amish restaurant for folks who wanted to take home a piece of local history.
The Black Buggy opened in 1996 and abruptly closed its doors in August 2011.
Many attributed the closure to back taxes owed by the restaurant.
