DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – Daviess County Public Schools board members have voted on the name for the new middle school.

And it’s a familiar name.

The board voted to name it Daviess County Middle School.

The new school will be built near Gateway Commons just off of Pleasant Valley Rd.

It will have three sections; one for each grade, an outdoor amphitheatre, and other features.

The new Daviess County middle school will replace the current middle school on East Fourth St.

A groundbreaking is scheduled for Friday, October 25th.
