Boonville firefighters were called to a house fire early Thursday morning.

A neighbor reported the fire in the 1700 block of Autumn Drive, just after 3.

When firefighters got to the scene, they say flames were shooting out a front bedroom window.

It took about 30 minutes to get the flames under control.

Firefighters say the fire was knocked down quickly, and a search of the home revealed that no one was inside.

There is no word yet on a possible cause.
