Brad Byrd In-Depth: Arlin McRae and Dr. Richard Litov Discuss Second Honor Flight

This Saturday, more than 70 veterans and their families will fly from Evansville to Washington, D.C. for the region’s second ever Honor Flight.

Last October, World War II veterans flew to our nation’s capital to visit the memorials. They were welcomed home by thousands of people later that night at Evansville Regional Airport.

In April, Honor Flight of Southern Indiana became the new hub for the Honor Flight network.

Brad Byrd sits down with World War II veteran Arlin McRae and Dr. Richard Litov, the President of the Freedom Heritage Museum, who will both be aboard this weekend’s Honor Flight. McRae also discusses his time serving on Iwo Jima, where he was wounded.
