The Republican National Convention gets underway on Monday in Cleveland, Ohio. It’s an opportunity for Donald Trump to make his pitch for the presidency.
There was already drama on day one of the convention. A collection of supporters for Ted Cruz attempted to force a lengthy roll call vote to change the convention rules for 2020 to help Cruz. However, the RNC rejected the move and a motion for a roll call vote after two voice votes.
