The Rio Olympics wrap up this weekend, and these Summer games will be long remembered in the Tri-State. Imagine a young Evansville girl dreaming about the Olympics. She worked hard, was outspoken in her quest for victory, and that victory became reality. Her name is Lilly King, and she won two gold medals in the Women’s 100 Meter Breaststroke and Women’s 4×100 Medley Relay.
Brad Byrd sits down with Lilly King’s parents, Mark and Ginny King, to discuss the grit and determination of the Reitz High School graduate and the drama that surrounded her as she took to the pool.
