Henderson County residents are getting a chance to talk about issues that are important to them in a series of question-and-answer sessions.
Henderson County Judge/Executive Brad Schneider will hold a series of Your Turn citizen forums that will take place this summer.
“The Your Turn forums will be just that – the citizens’ turn to tell me what’s on their minds,” Schneider said. “Hearing directly from constituents in an informal setting where we can talk face-to-face will help me do my job better and help county government serve people better. I will try to bring with me to the forums at least one representative of our other county departments or a magistrate, so they can get feedback from local folks, too.”
Upcoming forums are being held July 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church and on August 16 at 9:00 a.m. in the Fiscal Court Room.
All the forums will last approximately one hour, or as long as it takes for everyone in the audience to be heard.
