Bringing People Together Through Music

Local organizations came together Saturday to put on Rivercity Faithfest in downtown Evansville.
The festivities kicked off at 2:00PM. This is the 6th year for the event. Last year, rain forced the event to be moved indoors – but on Saturday, there wasn’t a cloud in sight.
Organizers say River Faithfest is focused on the community and the world and they hope to provide opportunities for people to get involved and make a difference. Festival director, Ben Smith, tells us,
“We have senior adults, we have little kids, and everyone in between. So I think it’s cool to have everybody come together. We love to share different kinds of Christian music, something for everybody – but just seeing everyone come together and fellowship and celebrate Jesus.”
Organizers expected to see around 1,500 people Saturday.
The festival wrapped up Saturday evening with a performance by award winning artist, Jamie Grace, at 7:00 PM.
