Walter G. Koch II, President and CEO of Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc., will retire after 49 years with the organization.

Koch is one of only five presidents of Evansville Goodwill since its inception in 1935.

“Koch has provided exceptional leadership for well over half of the organization’s existence,” said Dan Glass, Chairman of the Goodwill Board of Directors.   “Goodwill is a wonderful organization,” said Koch. “The foresight, interest, and support of the board, executive team, employees, and the community have enabled Goodwill to achieve significant growth and to change tens of thousands of lives through the power of work.  It’s been a tremendous honor,” he added.

Koch said he’s looking forward to spending more time with family and traveling.

The Board of Directors of Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. appointed Connie Ralph to be the new President and CEO.

Ralph has been the organization’s Vice President of Human Services.

“Connie is an excellent choice to succeed me.  She has successfully developed many employment assistance programs for the people we serve and I am confident about Goodwill’s future in her hands.” Koch said.

Koch will continue to serve as President and CEO through March 15, 2019.

Ralph will then officially take over.
