OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority approved a sales tax incentive program for a potential expansion at Kimberly Clark, just west of Owensboro.

An agency report shows the company is considering building a high efficiency power and steam production facility.

The incentive program allows Kimberly Clark to recoup up to $200,000 on sales taxes from buying equipment to build it.

Company officials confirmed they’re exploring the possible expansion but declined further comment.
