According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle has been stolen from Town & Country Ford on Evansville’s east side.
The dealership confirms that a Ford Mustang Bullitt was taken from the showroom sometime early Wednesday.
Dispatch said the incident initially classified as a ” suspicious circumstance”, was reported around 5:30 a.m.
Town and Country Ford said glass was broken on the outside of their showroom near exterior doors. The dealership said the Mustang was driven out of the showroom, but it has since been found.
As of 8:00 a.m. the car was found in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex, according to Town and Country.
Evansville Police are investigating.
