EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – An Evansville non-profit is celebrating decades of service to the community.
Carver Community Organization held its annual meeting and luncheon at Gateway.
Carver offers several programs where volunteers work with the development of youth and help senior citizens.
The guest speaker was Carver alumnus Ondra Berry, who served in the Nevada Air National Guard.
“It is critical as we come together that we really educate and communicate to the community the great work that they’re doing and ask for more support because it’s key volunteer organizations like this that really push forward the quality of life for a community.”
This is the 74th year for Carver Community Organization.
