Central City restaurant forced to pay back wages

A restaurant in Muhlenberg County must pay $78,562 in back wages to eight employees.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Lucky Garden paid most employees flat monthly salaries, in cash, no matter how many hours employees worked.

A report also found Lucky Garden paid one tipped employee a direct cash wage of $2/hr. 

Lucky Garden also did not keep records of the number of hours employees worked each workweek.
