Charges are dismissed against an Evansville teen, who was once accused of shooting four other people.

16-year-old Jarnell Carter faced with four counts of attempted murder. He was to be tried as an adult.

However, the state was granted a request to dismiss those charges without prejudice. That means charges could be filed again in the future.

The shooting happened last Wednesday. Police said it started as a fight between two gangs. The four victims suffered minor injuries.

Carter was released from police custody.
