Community Helps Save Emergency Warning Siren

In Daviess County, Indiana, officials will now be ready to help one town stay safe during an emergency.

Radio station WAMW held a fundraiser to help raise money for the city of Odon’s siren.

The alert system needed two-thousand dollars for repairs and a monthly service agreement.

Organizers say residents and businesses stepped up to answer the call, raising more than the amount needed.

The extra money will go towards continuing to pay for the monthly service agreement.
